#37 Teaser Tuesday: Hector and the Secrets of Love

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser this week:

In the end, her story made Hector think about his opinion on love: why do we go on being in love with someone who made us suffer? And why do we fall out of love with someone who cares about us?
- page 67, Hector and the Secrets of Love by François Lelord

I'm reading Hector and the Secrets of Love by François Lelord this week. I like the first book, Hector and the Search for Happiness and I was excited to get into Hector's journey in finding the secrets of love. The writing is a bit child-like style, but I really enjoy it.
