Book Review: I Heart London

I Heart London (I Heart #5)
by Lindsey Kelk

Genre: Chick Lit, Romance,
Publication: June 2012
Format: Paperback, 366 pages

I’m really excited for this book! I Heart London is the fifth books from Lindsey Kelk’s I Heart series (and I heard that it is the last one). Angela is terrified to be back to London. Well, her mother had insisted that she came back with her fiancé for her mother’s 60th birthday.

Then, her mother suggested the craziest thing – that she should marry Alex during her birthday. What’s even crazier is that, Jenny, her best friend from New York thinks that it was a good idea. That it was romantic. They had 6 days to plan everything before the wedding took place and things couldn’t get much more hectic. Well, her best friends, Jenny and Louisa finally met each other, Louisa’s baby; Grace, her parents and that presentation she had to deliver to Spencer Media UK.

I Heart London is definitely one of my favorite book from the series. I love Angela. She’s adorable. I love how Lindsey Kelk writes what’s going through her mind. It was really funny and crazy. It makes me laugh so much!

I like how the series start off with a wedding and ended with another wedding. It sounds so perfect. The story is great. It was really fun, and light. I love it.

Book Cover’s Description
Home is where the heart is. Right?

Angela Clark has fallen in love with New York – and it’s starting to love her back.

But when she’s summoned home to England, she’s at risk of losing her shiny new life to rain, warm beer and bad memories. Talk about stepping back in time.

There’s Mark, the ex-boyfriend – who she ran to New York to get away from.

There’s Louisa, her best friend, with her terrifying new baby.

And there’s her mum, still talking to her as though she’s fifteen.

Now there’s a wedding in the offing – and everyone remembers how well Angela behaved at the last one. . . Can the arrival of boyfriend Alex and best friend Jenny save her from a re-run of her old self?
